Our Story
Meet the Bayne's.
We are Kris and Terrilyn, owners of Milestone Slideshows, artists, storytellers, and high school sweethearts. Married in 1999, we formed Orpheus and Aphrodite Music and Photography, a wedding photography and live music entertainment company. For the first several years, our slideshow wedding stories were included in our photography packages and they were a huge hit.
A Growing Family
2002 - The Birth of Milestones and Memories
Big year! We had our first baby girl and memory preservation and storytelling with photos became our passion. We created a slideshow company, Milestones and Memories, to keep up with the demand of our unique slideshow products and expand beyond the wedding category.
Digital Evolution
2007 - Embracing New Technology
Now with 2 young daughters, we began using new technology to make it easier to upload and share pictures on the internet. We introduced our scanning, digital media conversion, and duplicating services as well as our custom printed DVDs. Since then, thousands of slideshows have been produced for families all over the world.
Innovation & Growth
2020 - Making Memories Easier Than Ever
We grew in 2020! New tools were developed to make uploading and arranging photos, videos, and song files the easiest on the planet. Grabbing photos from social media, cropping and rotating, dragging and dropping to sort your files - no one makes organizing pictures faster or easier than us.
Fostering to Adoption
Our Foster-To-Adoption Story
After years of our younger daughter's prayers, we heeded the call to open our home to foster a child in need of a loving home. Though we were open to adoption, we did not enter the journey to permanently grow our family. Our first call was for two siblings -- a newborn girl and a boy under 2. Our best description of foster care is that it's a roller coaster in the dark. After 19 months, the little ones that became family were placed with their biological family. We were heartbroken but trusted in God's perfect plan. Two months later, they came home to us and we adopted them nearly one year to the day. Watch our story in the slideshow below.

We honor foster families and know the love that foster parents instantly feel for their children in care. Though we understand that the intent of fostering is to reunify the child with family, the hardest thing a care parent can go through is losing their long term foster child through reunification, rehoming, or adoption. Milestone Slideshows is committed to preserving memories in foster homes. If you or someone you love has lost a foster child, please reach out to us. We provide many grieving foster families with free slideshows to remember the time they had with their loved one.
